Rayalaseema: Do the leaders have the support of the people?

G GOWTHAM
Rayalaseema - The land where navaratna grew in the last few decades has now turned into a drought-stricken area. Today, people who have lived very well are migrating to neighboring states for a better life. They have to leave their homes and live as orphans somewhere. They keep walking around and their bad situation continues. At present the situation of the people of seema has become even worse.
Especially when it comes to Ananthapuram, the land that once produced diamonds is now looking like stones. The lands have become barren and the crops are failing. The farmers are facing extreme hardships and their families are in a state of distress. It's time the government should think about what is happening to the people who believed in them. Most of them are migrating to the neighboring state of karnataka and Bengaluru for a better life.
In order to facilitate the flow of 3,850 cusecs in the expansion of the Handriniva canal, Chandrababu initiated the expansion of the Handri-neeva project with Rs.1,030 crores. But at that time the tdp government spent Rs.285.77 crores. Handriniva scheme was undertaken with the aim of providing drinking water to 35 lakh population. Above Srisailam, 40 TMCs of dark flood water should be lifted by Malyala Lift of nandikotkur mandal and the tears of drought villages should be wiped away.

Under Phase One, 216.30 km from Mallyala to GDPalli Reservoir of Anantapuram district under phase one. 8 lifts have been constructed on the main canal . 3850 cusecs have to be lifted through 12 pumps. But the work of this project has stopped everywhere. Jagan's government has not started the work after 28 months since the completion of the tenders. This is leading to criticism. There is no guarantee of employment or on the other hand crops or farmers and laborers are also migrating. The situation is worse and the people do not believe both the parties!
