Prabhas and prashanth neel collaborated on Salaar: Part 1, which had some success at the international box office, in december of last year. Audiences were intrigued by Prabhas’ character elevation and the world-building accomplished by prashanth neel in Salaar. Some fans' expectations for Salaar 2, the sequel, were quite high. Salaar 2 is reportedly scheduled to start filming at ramoji film city by the end of May. The script has been improved by Prashanth and his writing team in response to input from the first segment.

December 2025 is when Hombale Films plans to release Salaar 2. In addition to the main ensemble, the sequel will feature new performers from a variety of sectors. Soon after finishing Salaar 1, prashanth neel had first promised to work with NTR. It looks like this project has been put on hold for the time being, though. It is anticipated that ntr will complete filming for war 2 by august or september of this year, at which point he will be out of work.

It is anticipated that ntr will complete filming for war 2 by august or september of this year, at which point he will be out of work. Rumour has it that ntr plans to start shooting Prashanth Neel's movie in October, however this would depend on Prashanth's schedule. Based on the reception to the first half of Devara, which is scheduled for publication in October, ntr may decide to begin Devara 2 if Prashanth is not available by then.

According to rumours, prashanth neel has been busy filming the scouting for NTR's movie for the past three months. He was presumably preoccupied with the script for Salaar 2, though. Perhaps in an effort to fully exit the Salaar universe before taking on a wholly new subject with ntr, prashanth neel prioritised Salaar 2 over NTR's project. Furthermore, Salaar didn't take off as kgf did, so there's a chance that its frenzy would fizzle out quickly. Therefore, it would be wiser to develop a sequel to Salaar rather than starting a new project.
