Enthusiasts have been ecstatic since the release of the poster for kalki 2898 AD, the highly awaited science fiction action thriller starring Prabhas, deepika Padukone, and amitabh Bachchan. The poster, which was supposed to be released on june 26, attracted attention right away with its futuristic features and striking images. But in the middle of all the excitement, conversations and comparisons on social media about how much kalki resembled the hollywood film Dune arose. Internet users began comparing the ideas and images of the two films.
Some even drew attention to the obvious parallels between Zendaya's role in Dune and deepika Padukone's appearance in Kalki.
