AP BJP Targets YSRCP Pro-IAS!!
It seems like the andhra pradesh alliance's goal has been accomplished. After Modi's address, there are increasing concerns regarding TDP's position and the wisdom of contemplating bjp as an alliance partner in the state. The bjp has been going after IPS officers who support the ruling party, claiming that these officials in important roles are trying to make sure the YSRCP wins the elections.
In a letter to the Chief election Commissioner, ap bjp President Purandreswari asked that pro-YSRCP IPS officials be removed from the state. She said that these powerful officers are actively aiding the YSRCP in winning elections, and she underlined that their exclusion is necessary for a fair and orderly election process.
Purandreswari's complaint listed the names of twenty-two people, from non-cadre SP anand reddy to in-charge DGP Rajendranath reddy, alleging them of engaging in corrupt activities, having connections to the YSRCP, and intimidating the opposition. Purandreswari submitted the complaint on the 26th of last month, and it is believed that six IPS officials have already been removed from the election Commission's list. Since february 2022, DGP Rajendranath reddy has held the position of In-Charge DGP for the state.

The UPSC has not yet received the list of police personnel qualified for full DGP appointments. He allegedly set up checkpoints and dispatched only "appropriate" police personnel in an attempt to prevent opposition activists from attending a public gathering that the prime minister was attending. Additionally, Seetharaamaanjaneyulu is charged with unlawfully holding several opposition figures. He held the position of Intelligence DG for three years and is thought to be quite powerful.
