The opposition has questioned the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) rajya sabha mp Raghav Chadha's absence amid the party's ongoing political crisis, which began with the arrest of delhi Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. The rumours that Chadha is avoiding the Enforcement Directorate's net in the continuing investigation into the now-cancelled delhi liquor policy have also been stoked by his absence from the political scene. Notably, kejriwal was detained in judicial prison till april 15 after being apprehended by the federal investigative agency in the excise policy case. The question of whether Raghav Chadha is MIA (missing in action) remains a major concern among the current turmoil in the AAP.

Chadha has been in london since march 8 for a vitrectomy, a kind of eye operation intended to avoid retinal detachment, according to his account on the microblogging platform X.
