One More Arrest in KCR's Family
The family of BRS chief kcr has been having legal issues for the past few weeks. Kalvakuntla Kavitha, the daughter of kcr, was recently taken into custody and sent to tihar jail on suspicion of being involved in the delhi Liquor Policy fraud. The Adibatla police have now detained Kalvakuntla Tejeshwar Rao, also known as Kalvakuntla Kanna Rao, who is the nephew of KCR.
In a few hours, he will be transferred to remand. Recently, Kanna Rao was the target of a land invasion lawsuit. He and his allies allegedly attempted to unlawfully seize a 2-acre plot of property in Manneguda. In this matter, a case was brought against Kanna Rao and 38 other people. Some of them were placed under remand. When the complaint was filed against Kanna Rao, he was evading capture.
Following IPC sections 147, 148, 447, 427, 307, 436, 506, r/w149, the case was filed. Still, he requested anticipatory bail. However, the high court turned down Kanna Rao's appeal. Daniel, one of the people who was detained, informed the authorities that Kanna Rao had fled to Singapore. After several days of hunting, Kanna Rao was eventually taken into custody by the police today.
