TDP Showing its Muscle in Anantapur
Since its founding, the telugu desam party has had a stronghold in Anantapur. However, in 2019, jagan broke through the fort. In the former Anantapur district, tdp won just two of the fourteen seats. The JC family and the Paritala family, two prominent tdp families, also suffered severe blows. The only winners were balakrishna and payyavula Keshav.
The tdp, however, is expected to mount a strong return in the area, according to several studies. Group politics are hurting the tdp in Anantapur Urban. Due to its admission of former minister Gummanur jayaram just before the polls, tdp is having problems in Guntakal. However, the TDP's leadership promises a swift turnaround.
Gooty is in the Anantapur district and is the site of a chappal thrown at YS jagan Mohan Reddy. In the remaining 10 seats, tdp is in the lead. However, the lead in Kalyandurg and raptadu is quite thin. In the upcoming days, these hopefuls will have to put in a lot of sweat. The party is only considering four of the fourteen seats, even if we take into account every edge seat that would go to the ysr Congress.
