Bengaluru techie turned thief after losing job during Covid
Jassie Agarwal relocated from noida to Bengaluru in search of employment. She was laid off during COVID-19.
She then reportedly began robbing PGs of their computers and other electronics, bringing them back to her village to resell on the illicit market. Allegedly, Jassie used to get into unoccupied rooms and take computers that were left to charge.
Police learned about the situation when a PG resident filed a complaint, stating that many computers had vanished.
On march 26, police detained Jassie and found 24 computers valued at more than Rs 10-15 lakh.
