Telangana braces for a long summer - Temp in City and Rural touches 40 degrees Celsius
The highest temperature recorded was 40.4 degrees Celsius in the Khairatabad sector, and 40.9 degrees Celsius in the Moinabad area of Rangareddy district, which lies on the outskirts of the city.
In contrast, Mercury remained in the range of 38 to 38.9 degrees Celsius throughout the remaining parts of the city. In a forecast, the india Meteorological Department (IMD)-Hyderabad stated that, during the next five days, there would be a continuous increase in morning maximum temperatures of two to three degrees Celsius.
Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) reports that maximum daytime temperatures in Telangana's metropolitan centers, such as hyderabad and Warangal, would range from 41 to 42 degrees Celsius.
With temperatures steadily climbing and circling between 42 and 41 degrees Celsius, the rural areas of telangana have already begun to feel extreme heat.
