Telangana - Congress Struggling to Find Candidates
Aside from this, disagreements exist between a few groups about the use of nominated positions. The congress is failed to declare candidates for the eight constituencies of Khammam, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Adilabad, Warangal, Bhongir, medak, and hyderabad in the middle of all these problems.
Some have even questioned the logic of giving some families in the party more tickets. The cpi state unit is also requesting that the congress allocate at least one seat under the alliance, after the MRPS and the telangana Muslims Joint Action Committee's public criticism of the congress for supporting a select group of community leaders and being prejudiced against others.
By nominating candidates from all communities, the telangana congress is attempting to achieve a balance among all factions in this situation.
Three of the seventeen seats are set aside for SC, two for ST, and the remaining sixteen are for general categories. For example, Mynampally Hanumanth Rao is reportedly eager to run from the medak parliamentary constituency.
The All india congress Committee (AICC) is scheduled to meet in New delhi on wednesday to deliberate on the finalisation of candidates. To attend the meeting, chief minister A revanth reddy is anticipated to take a tuesday or wednesday flight to New Delhi.
