Tamil Nadu MP hospitalized after consuming pesticide

The MDMK's A. Ganeshamoorthy, the current member of parliament for tamil Nadu's Erode seat, was taken to the hospital after he may have eaten pesticide. After feeling uneasy and throwing up in the morning, Ganesamoorthy, who was elected to the lok sabha in 2019 on the DMK ticket, was taken to a private hospital by his family.
 
It is stated that he admitted to his family that he had eaten pesticide. He was examined, admitted to the intensive care unit, and placed on a ventilator, according to the police. Later, at about 2:30 pm, he was transported in an ambulance with two physicians and his family to a private hospital in Coimbatore.
 
When MDMK leader Durai vaiko visited the hospital, he informed the staff that Ganeshamoorthy was receiving ECMO care and was in a severe condition.
 
Other political figures hurried to the hospital to check on Ganesamoorthy's condition, including K.V. Ramalingam of the AIADMK, Dr. C. Saraswathy, bjp mla of Modakurichi, and S. Muthusamy, state minister for Urban Development and Housing as well as Excise and Prohibition. A. Ganeshamoorthy, the sitting lok sabha mp from Erode constituency in tamil Nadu, was rushed to a hospital after he allegedly consumed pesticide.
