T Padma Rao Goud has been nominated by Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) as its candidate for the secunderabad parliamentary constituency in the forthcoming lok sabha elections, according to BRS leader K Chandrashekhar Rao.
As of right now, Padma Rao Goud represents the party as an mla from the secunderabad seat.
Between 2014 to 2018, he was KCR's cabinet minister for sports, youth services, and excise and prohibition. He later held the position of deputy speaker in the legislature of the state.
The party has already announced its candidates for some constituencies including Ragidi Laxma reddy for Malkajigiri, athram sakku for Adilabad, nama nageswara rao for Khammam, Maloth kavitha for Mahabubabad, Koppula eshwar for Peddpalli, Boinapalli vinod kumar for Karimnagar, Manne srinivas reddy for Mahabubnagar, Bajireddy Goverdhan for Nizamabad, Dr. Kadiyam Kavya for Warangal, Kasani Gnaneshwar for Chevella, Gali Anil Kumar for Zaheerabad, Venkatram reddy from medak and RS praveen Kumar from Nagarkurnool.
The congress nominated Danam Nagender, who recently abandoned the BRS from secunderabad, while the state bjp president and Union minister g kishan reddy have been re-fielded by the BJP.
The state will cast ballots on May 13 in accordance with the election commission of India's (ECI) timetable for local elections.
