Telangana - Hyderabad based Megha Engineering donated highest amount to BJP
The greatest donation to the BJP, almost Rs 586 crore, came from Hyderabad-based Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd, the second-largest purchaser of electoral bonds, according to statistics made public by the election commission on Thursday.
The company, which recently secured the coveted Zojila tunnel contract among other ventures, ventured into the city gas business and bought a media conglomerate, procured electoral bonds totaling Rs 966 crore.
Additionally, it has given to the BRS, which was Telangana's dominant party until recently.

About Rs 25 crore went to the tdp and Rs 17 crore to the congress from the corporation.
The JD-U, JD-S, and Jana Sena party received smaller amounts, between Rs 5 and Rs 10 crore.
