Telangana Hyderabad - Income Tax Raids conducted at Chutneys Restaurants

Chutneys eateries and the owners' homes throughout the city and beyond are being searched by Income Tax inspectors. The proprietor, Atluri Priya, is related to Y S Sharmila, the leader of the andhra pradesh Congress Committee (APCC). Sharmila's son just tied the knot with Priya's daughter. The income tax searches are still going on, having started in the morning. 

The Atluri family has been in the hotel industry for several years, and the Chutneys chain is well-known in Hyderabad. Chutneys has not yet released an official comment on the IT raids. IT officers are also conducting raids on Meghana Foods in the districts of Rangareddy and Hyderabad.

In the twin cities, "Chutneys" eateries have gained a lot of notoriety. This restaurant franchise was founded ten years ago by Atluri Padma, who has opened multiple profitable locations around the city. In corporate circles, word of the current IT raids has spread like wildfire. 'Chutneys' management and IT personnel have not yet issued a statement about the searches.
 
However, Meghana Foods & Eateries in the city is also being inspected by IT officials. There are franchisees for Meghana Foods in Bangalore and Hyderabad. The specifics of the Meghana Foods and "Chutneys" inspections have not yet been made public. The IT officials may decide to publish the information during a news conference later in the evening.
