Muhammad Yusuf, co-founder and director of Bakelore, explained the reason for launching the special meal during Ramadan in an interview with the india Herald. "In hyderabad, Ramadan is synonymous with the unavoidable craze around haleem, therefore I've always had the idea to attempt creating a hybrid. And I was aware that, if done well, customer curiosity would undoubtedly soar," he remarked.

"The reaction from customers has been overwhelmingly positive, with stocks running out due to high demand, despite initial reservations about altering traditional favorites," Yusuf said.
