Famous American companies apple and tesla are losing millions of customers in China. china is an important market for American companies like apple and Tesla. In this situation, Chinese people have suddenly reduced their purchases of apple phones and tesla cars. The tendency to use domestically produced products has increased in China. So people have started showing interest in buying phones and products from domestic companies. Speaking at a meeting of China's ruling Communist party, senior party figure john Wenlong urged people to avoid using apple iPhones as much as possible.
He said that although the iPhones are manufactured in china, he is not confident that the chips used in them are safe. Apart from that, government employees have been advised not to use iPhones. Therefore, there are reports that the use of phones from the Chinese company huawei has increased.
The US had already banned the use of China's huawei phones a few years ago citing security concerns. Now the same thing is happening in China. It has also been reported that huawei company agents go directly to Chinese government offices and sell phones at a 20% discount. Schools in china are advised to use only Chinese company phones and to teach children about the use of domestic products. Hence iphone sales in china have declined.
Similarly, in response to tesla, China's BYD has started selling electric vehicles. China's BYD is set to sell electric vehicles in various countries soon to compete with Tesla. apple and tesla have started selling phones and vehicles at discounted prices to deal with domestic competition. Apart from these, the sales of Nike and Adidas have also decreased. China's plan seems to be to phase out American companies' products because they are not reliable.
