'Shaitaan' box office Day 1 - Mints 14 Crores

Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyothika's "Shaitaan," one of the most anticipated movies of the year, had a respectable opening weekend at the box office. After a successful march 8 solo premiere, the movie grossed in Rs 14.50 crore. The movie is anticipated to gain up speed during the weekend, even if the confirmed numbers have not yet been released. In the hindi belt, "Shaitaan" had an overall occupancy rate of 25.70%.
 

A remake of the Gujarati movie "Vash" is called "Shaitaan." The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) gave the movie a U/A certificate before to its distribution, recommending a few edits. 'Shaitaan's' central theme appears to be dark magic, as suggested by the trailer. The Censor Board has requested that the filmmakers include a voiceover with the disclaimer, "the film does not support/endorse black magic," as reported by bollywood Hungama. Additionally, director vikas bahl was requested to shout in place of using an offensive term.
 

In addition, the CBFC requested a 25% decrease in the images showing blood dripping from the lips due to a scene in "Shaitaan." The movie has also been directed to incorporate a message about alcohol usage. The final runtime after these modifications is 132 minutes. 'Shaitaan' is produced by ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, kumar mangat Pathak, and abhishek Pathak and is presented by jio Studios, Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios. vikas bahl is the director of this work.
