Telangana CM Revanth taking credit for work under KCR regime

Telangana chief minister A revanth reddy came under fire from BRS senior politician Manne Krishank for unjustly claiming credit for the achievements of the preceding BRS administration while making no contributions.

To "secure votes in the upcoming lok sabha elections," Krishank accused reddy of "hastily" starting the building of elevated routes across defensive grounds.

Speaking to the media on Friday, march 8, at telangana Bhavan, Krishank emphadata-sized that the previous BRS administration had carried out the strategic road development programme (SRDP), finishing 36 of 48 projects, including connecting roads, flyovers, and underpasses in Hyderabad.

"Furthermore, plans for two double-decker skyways on the routes Jubilee bus Stand-Shamirpet and paradise junction-Medchal were proposed, requiring defense lands under the management of the Cantonment Board," he continued.

Krishank said that the recommendations were brought to the secunderabad Cantonment Board by the Defense Ministry in response to many requests from the state government and that the board granted in-principle approval of the plans last year.

Revanth reddy, the malkajgiri MP at the time, was also invited as a special invitee to the august 2023 special board meeting held in secunderabad Cantonment Board. He did, however, provide the minutes of the aforementioned meeting, stating that he had missed the important one.

Revanth reddy was accused by the BRS leader of not helping to secure defense lands. He said, "He is now criticizing the previous BRS regime because of his political motivations."
