The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of telangana declared Manne srinivas reddy, the current Member of Parliament, as their candidate for the mahabubnagar lok sabha seat in the upcoming elections on Tuesday. srinivas Reddy's nomination was declared by BRS President K. chandrasekhar Rao following the adjudication of a gathering of BRS leaders from the mahabubnagar and nagarkurnool seats.

The contender for the mahabubnagar seat alone was declared during the conference.

While addressing the media with state BSP president R. S. praveen Kumar to declare their alliance for the next elections, KCR, also known as Rao, avoided answering directly when asked if he would be running for the lok sabha from Nagarkurnool.

"Why can't I run from warangal or Peddapalli?" questioned the former chief minister.

The BRS has so far declared candidates for five lok sabha seats with their declaration on Tuesday.

In the 2019 elections, srinivas reddy beat D. K. Aruna of the bjp by a margin of more than 77,000 votes in Mahabubnagar. Vamshi Chand reddy of the congress party came in third.

Chief minister A. revanth reddy, the president of the State congress, has said that Vamshi Chand reddy will run from the same seat. Despite declaring nine candidates last week, the bjp has yet to reveal their nominee for the mahabubnagar seat.
