As global economic indices change, the price of gold in hyderabad continues to increase, hitting a one-month high on Monday, march 4. On Monday, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold was Rs 64,090, continuing to climb from the record set the previous month. In contrast, the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold stayed at Rs 58,750, the peak price reached one month ago.
Over the past two days, prices in the city have been steady, and since february 29, the price of gold has been gradually increasing. Only three times in the last year has the cost of ten grams of gold in hyderabad surpassed Rs 62,500, thanks to this surge. The price was 64,200 on december 4, 2023, and 64,250 on december 28, 2023, before this.

Conversely, the price trend for silver is now declining. The price of silver per kilogram in the city was Rs 77,000 on Monday, suggesting that the metal's price is trending lower.

The price of gold has reportedly increased in many places throughout the country. Reports state that this trend started last week when the US revealed worse economic statistics, which gave rise to speculations that the Federal Reserve might cut interest rates in June.

This has led to a decline in government rates and a weakening of the US dollar, which has increased the price of gold globally.
