Telangana braces for above-normal heatwave days

In March, telangana state is predicted to see more hot days than usual, according to the forecast issued on friday by the india Meteorological Department (IMD). It was the second-warmest february in more than a century. IMD director General Mrutyunjay Mohapatra predicted during a news conference in Delhi, stating that El Nino conditions are expected to last at least till May and that india is likely to see a warmer summer this year.
 

Most of the country was expected to see above-normal maximum and minimum temperatures, according to Mohapatra. According to him, there was little chance of a heatwave over northern and central india in March. april and May are most likely the polling months for the Lok Sabha. Speaking further about the weather, Mohapatra underlined that although El Nino conditions are anticipated to last throughout summer, neutral conditions are probably going to emerge afterward.

 Furthermore, there may be an increase in rainfall when La Nina conditions develop in the second part of the monsoon season. According to him, there won't be any heatwave conditions in northern and central india in March.

The state is expected to see "full-fledged summer heat," according to forecasts, according to weather enthusiast T. Balaji, who lives in the city. The days and nights of pleasant weather have finished. The following three and a half months will be hot, he continued, unless "we get good summer spells, which are not expected at least until the end of March." The head of IMD also revealed that February's average low temperature in india was 14.61ºC, the second-highest since 1901.
