Brutal Assault in Tripura: Four Arrested.!
Law enforcement promptly responded to the incident, and the accused have been remanded to judicial custody. Charges have been filed against them under sections 342, 325, 307, and 120(B) of the indian Penal Code (IPC). Bhanupada Chakraborty, the Superintendent of police for North District, confirmed that the arrested individuals, including family members and neighbour's, are currently in judicial custody.
This disturbing event follows a similar occurrence in Dharmanagar from the previous month, where four individuals were arrested for subjecting a youth to physical abuse. In that case, the perpetrators had tied the victim to a pillar, subjected him to beatings, and even applied salt and chilli powder to his wounds. The incidents underscore the gravity of the situation, prompting concerns about the safety and well-being of individuals in the region.
