Dastagiri, who turned approver in the murder case of former minister YS Vivekananda reddy, recently completed a four-month remand in kadapa Jail for atrocity and assault charges, subsequently securing release on bail. During this event, Dastagiri made sensational comments targeting chief minister YS jagan and kadapa mp avinash Reddy, introducing a new demand related to the election.

Living near mp avinash Reddy's residence in Pulivendulu, Dastagiri asserted fearlessness and stated that he opted to be an approver to atone for his involvement in Viveka's murder, emphasizing his reluctance to make further mistakes by heeding the directives of the cm and MP. Dastagiri levelled accusations against chief minister YS jagan, alleging that jagan secured victory in the previous election by suppressing Viveka's murder and is attempting a similar conspiracy for the upcoming elections.

He claimed that his role as an approver led to a conspiracy against him, resulting in his incarceration for unrelated charges. Dastagiri disclosed an encounter with chaitanya reddy, son of Devi reddy Sivashankar reddy (a Viveka case accused), who allegedly proposed a monetary settlement.

Further, Dastagiri claimed that cbi SP Ramsingh attempted to coerce him into providing testimony against his interests, but he steadfastly refused. He urged jagan to reveal Viveka's murderer during "Siddham" meetings and demanded both jagan and avinash disclose the truth when seeking votes in the upcoming elections. In a warning, Dastagiri stated that people in Pulivendu might retaliate with stones if the two leaders request votes in the next election.
