'You made me Chief Minister, I paid back...'
Jitan ram Manjhi mentioned during a speech at a function that the chief minister received 125 votes in the bihar Assembly. He said that he helped Kumar receive four votes.
"Nitish Kumar received 125 votes in the bihar Assembly, which was the required 122 votes to establish the government. Four votes were our contribution. It would have been 121 votes if those 4 votes had not been cast, according to Manjhi.
The former chief minister declared, "I can now say that I have also repaid my favour because he made me the Chief Minister."
In addition, he urged the people of bihar to support his administration and pledged to strive for the state's total prohibition on alcohol.
Rabri Devi, a former chief minister and RJD leader, poked fun at nitish kumar on Tuesday, claiming that unlike the last time, he had left the RJD coalition freely and without coercion.
This followed a sharp turnabout in which Kumar chose to work with the bjp to establish a new administration.
