According to sources, this list is expected to include around 100 names, primarily featuring candidates for constituencies where the party data-faced defeat in the 2014 and 2019 lok sabha elections.
Approximately 160 such seats were identified by the bjp, where the party aims to strengthen its presence. These seats were strategically chosen, considering either the BJP's inability to secure a win or its narrow margin of victory. The party has been actively working on these seats for about a year, assigning cluster in-charges to oversee the preparations. Out of the 160 identified seats, candidate selections have been finalized for nearly 100 seats.
