After the release of Jr. NTR's solo film "Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava" in 2018, his fans have been clamoring for the film's release to resume quickly. They feel he wasted his best time on a multi-starrer, and that there has been a significant delay because of Koratala's "Acharya" issues. The "Devara" crew has now formally revealed the release date, but there is still a significant obstacle in international markets, particularly in the US, where box office success is crucial for a big-name movie.
"Devara" will have an extremely tough time finding theatres in the united states if it opens on october 10th, 2024 as planned, as Warner Bros.' "Joker 2" opens a week earlier on october 4, 2024. Given that "Joker" is a hollywood movie cult classic, it will be very difficult for the American distributor to offer "Devara" a wider release, particularly in large-screen formats like IMAX, XD, etc.
