A tragic incident occurred at tirupati Zoo Park where a visitor, identified as Prahlad gurjar from Rajasthan, lost his life after entering the lion enclosure. The shocking event unfolded when gurjar, reportedly in a dispute with security personnel over permission to touch the lion's head, was denied access and subsequently escorted out of the area.

Undeterred, it's revealed that gurjar managed to blindfold the lion named "Dongalapur" and entered the enclosure without the staff's knowledge. In a tragic turn of events, the male lion attacked and killed Gurjar. The incident took place during the lion safari, prompting loud shouts from other visitors who witnessed the horrifying attack. Prahlad gurjar, a professional driver from Rajasthan, had arrived in tirupati by bus from hyderabad three days prior to the incident.

Despite warnings and the restricted nature of the area, gurjar climbed over a locked gate, jumped into the lion's enclosure, and tragically lost his life.

Chandragiri DSP Sarath Rajkumar and Zoo Curator Selvam provided details of the incident, emphasizing that Gurjar's unauthorized entry into the restricted area led to the fatal encounter with the lion. The tragedy has left both zoo visitors and staff deeply shocked by the unexpected and unfortunate turn of events.
