Telangana Hyderabad - Water War Refuses to Die

SIBY JEYYA
Starting on Tuesday, the water fight that started on monday is probably going to escalate into a high-stakes political thriller. The government intends to expose the BRS of causing irreversible damage to the state regarding water in the krishna River, even as BRS chief k chandrasekhar rao addresses a public meeting in nalgonda, accusing the congress government of having compromised the state's interests, which were achieved after a protracted struggle with three main demands: water, employment, and resources.

The administration also intends to submit a vigilance report to the assembly regarding the flaws in the planning and implementation of the irrigation project known as the kaleshwaram Lift, which caused the piers from 16 to 20 to sink, causing a significant loss to the exchequer. Tuesday's project site will be visited by a group of all congress MLAs, MLCs, and Ministers, headed by chief minister A revanth Reddy. Despite a letter from Irrigation minister N reddy NALAMADA' target='_blank' title='uttam kumar reddy-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">uttam kumar reddy inviting all parties to attend, BRS has declined to travel, citing a public gathering they had scheduled in Nalgonda. The bjp declined the government's invitation as well.

However, kcr is probably going to declare the party's next plan of action, which includes organizing protests and dharnas in response to this problem. At the nalgonda gathering, he would issue a demand for another "Jung," or protracted struggle, for krishna water. It's interesting to note that both sides accuse one another of causing unfairness to the state's citizens. However, a vital letter dated february 2, 2024, which was delivered to Union Jal shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekawat, has been deliberately overlooked by both of them.

BRS mp Nama Nageshwar Rao wrote a letter stating that the telangana government was against giving KRMB control over the krishna water and reservoir. However, the Joint Secretary claimed that the state government had consented in the KRMB meeting minutes. This was contrary to the State Government's position. Surprisingly, neither side mentioned in this most recent letter has been discussed in political circles.
