Schools in Kopalapuram, JJ Nagar, RA Puram, Annanagar, and Parimunai have been threatened. There was an uproar after a mysterious person sent bomb threats to popular private schools in chennai via e-mail. Intimidation has been issued to schools in various areas including Gopalapuram, JJ Nagar, RA Puram, Annanagar, and Parimunai. In this situation, the police department is conducting tests with the help of sniffer dogs. After sending a text message to the school management, parents come and pick up their children. In the meantime, the police have appealed to no one to panic. Actions have been initiated to trace the sender of the email threat. Earlier, the school management had sent a text message to the parents. It was informed that schools will end at 1 pm today and as there will be no school transport, parents should pick up their children. After this, the parents are taking the children.

People don't panic
⚠️Bomb threat e-mails were received at a few educational institutions in GCP limits.
⚠️GCP/BDDS teams have been sent for Anti-Sabotage Checks in these educational institutions and action is being taken to identify the culprit who sent these e-mails.
Meanwhile, the police said that the general public should not be afraid. In this regard, in a report published by the Metropolitan chennai Corporation police on X site, "Some educational institutions operating within the chennai Corporation have received e-mails containing bomb threats. A team of sniffer dogs has been rushed to the educational institutes mentioned in the mail. The work is on to identify the culprit who sent the e-mails.
So the general public should not be afraid," said the chennai Corporation Police. Meanwhile, more than 10 schools have received bomb threats.
