Some individuals employ their creativity in unscrupulous activities, choosing blackmail as their profession. Amid growing concerns about cybercrimes related to loan apps, a new form of robbery has emerged, specifically targeting couples in love. A gang in telangana has been recently exposed for engaging in a nefarious scheme, particularly aimed at love-struck couples.

The modus operandi involves members of the gang secretly capturing photos and videos of couples in intimate moments without their knowledge. Subsequently, the gang confronts the unsuspecting victims, presenting the incriminating material, and resorting to blackmail. The threat is to release the private photos and videos unless the targeted couples comply with their monetary demands.

This disturbing trend came to light in nalgonda, telangana, where a group of six youths orchestrated a series of such blackmail schemes. The gang strategically selects moments when couples appear isolated, then proceeds to exploit the situation by threatening to expose their private moments unless they hand over money, jewellery, and other valuables.

As incidents of this nature escalated, victims started to come forward, lodging complaints with the police. In response, law enforcement intervened, and six individuals from nalgonda were apprehended in connection with these crimes. Following their arrest, the police discovered and seized various items, including gold rings, expensive watches, cell phones, TVs, an inverter, and more from the accused.

The local community has become aware of these criminal activities, and the arrest of the gang members has brought relief to some victims who may not have reported the crimes out of fear. The incident highlights the need for increased awareness and vigilance against such cybercrimes and blackmail, urging people to report such incidents to the authorities.
