Telangana Hyderabad - GHMC receives 188 complaints during Prajavani
Mayor Gadwal Vijayalaxmi has said that continuous complaints would not be allowed. Complainants can approach the circular and zonal levels first, and if the problem persists, they can approach the headquarters. She emphasized that all applications should be filed electronically and notified to department heads and candidates.
Furthermore, authorities are encouraged to include updates on the settlement of complaints received during prior Prajavani sessions in their reports to the program. During the Prajavani program on Monday, officials received 188 complaints, with 132 coming from zonal and circular offices and the remainder coming from headquarters. The majority of concerns concerned the town planning wing. Approximately 18 calls were received during the phone-in show.
Mayor Vijayalaxmi and ghmc commissioner D Ronald Rose attended the event. Rose urged authorities to expedite the resolution of grievances received in Prajavani and to offer written assurance to the aggrieved about the number of days it would take to settle the matter. Meanwhile, the mayor stated that each application should be uploaded online and the message sent together with the applicant to the HoD of the relevant department. She asked authorities to produce weekly statistics on the amount of grievances settled each Monday.
