Unemployed youth from around telangana gathered in madhapur on saturday to protest the GO 46 in front of the Instagram-popular Kumari Aunty's food stand.
The demonstrations erupted following chief minister A revanth Reddy's recent involvement, in which he immediately addressed Raidurgam Police's closure of Kumari Aunty's booth due to traffic issues. Earlier this week, cm Reddy intervened, directing both the police and Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) authorities to allow Kumari to resume her stand activities without interruption.
The jobless youngsters stated that the cm ignored their six-month-long protest, even though Kumari's issue was handled quickly, in stark contrast to the lack of attention given to their complaints.
The demonstrators claimed that GO 46 disproportionately affects police candidates from Telangana's rural regions. According to this government directive, competent persons residing in rural regions suffer eligibility constraints for telangana State Public service Commission (TSPSC) posts, which are recruited at the state level.
Furthermore, the protestors claim that the 53 percent reservation for the combined hyderabad districts and 47 percent for the remaining 26 districts exacerbates job inequities, with rural candidates getting fewer possibilities. Stay tuned with us for more updates in this same regard.
