The telangana government declared a holiday today to commemorate Hazrat Ali's birth anniversary. The state will also have a holiday tomorrow to commemorate Republic Day. Although the state administration proclaimed a holiday for Hazrat Ali's birth anniversary on its calendar, it was classified as an optional holiday rather than a general one.
Hazrat Ali’s birth anniversary
Hazrat ali is revered by all Muslims worldwide, and his birth anniversary is observed on the 13th of Rajab, the seventh month of the Islamic calendar. This year, it is observed on january 25 in India. Hazrat Ali, also known as ali ibn Abu Talib, was a strong leader regarded with great honor and devotion by Muslims. Each year on his birthday, the telangana government declares an optional holiday.
On the occasion of Muhammad Hazrat Ali's birth anniversary on january 25, the Uttar Pradesh government has declared a vacation in all schools in the state. The shutdown affects all government and private institutions, from Nursery to Class 12. Previously, the administration had closed all offices, schools, and institutions in the state for the consecration ceremony of ram Lalla in ayodhya on january 22.
Telangana to observe holiday on Republic Day
On Republic Day, the state administration has proclaimed a general vacation tomorrow. However, every office, school institution, and other organisation raises the national flag in the morning. It will be the last holiday of the month in Telangana.
