Large crowds swarm the ram shrine in Ayodhya...

A large assembly gathered at the ram mandir in ayodhya on tuesday morning, following the conclusion of ram Lalla's "pran pratishtha" ritual in ayodhya on Monday. The grand temple welcomed worshipers to offer prayers. On the first morning following the consecration ceremony, devotees flocked in great numbers to have darshan (viewing) of the new ram Lalla idol, according to news agency ANI.

Unrestrained revelries surrounded the 'pran pratishtha' of ram Lalla in ayodhya, where prime minister Narendra Modi performed the principal rites conducted by a small group of priests.

The Shri ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra website offers two distinct time slots for devotees who wish to receive darshan of Lord ram Lalla: one morning session from 7am to 11:30am and another afternoon slot from 2pm to 7pm.

In honor of Lord Ram's accession to this throne, festivities were also arranged around the nation. The Lord Rama 'pran pratishtha' ceremony took place on monday at 12:29 p.m. A seven-day ceremony began on january 16 as part of the ceremonial journey that preceded the major event.

Representatives from the nation's major spiritual and religious sects were present for the ceremony. Attendees for the ceremony included people from diverse backgrounds, including representatives of several tribal communities. 380 feet long and 250 feet wide, the Shri ram Janmbhoomi Mandir was constructed in the classic Nagara style. It is supported by 44 doors and 392 pillars in all, rising 161 feet above the ground. The temple's walls and pillars are adorned with finely carved representations of Hindu gods and goddesses. The infant Lord ram is enthroned in the ground floor's sanctum sanctorum.
