Ram Mandir Event: Strict Warning To YouTubers

SIBY JEYYA
The indian government has advised publications, television broadcasters, and internet platforms against distributing false or misleading information. This is especially significant right now, given that the ram mandir will be consecrated in ayodhya later today. The government is concerned about videos on sites such as YouTube and instagram that include hate and violence.

These films with incendiary thumbnails frequently include provocative images that drive individuals to become violent by eliciting emotions, instigating hatred, and disrupting social cohesion. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is attempting to address this by issuing rules to media outlets, which include YouTube channels. Even if the government is making efforts, there are people/YouTubers who seek out such opportunities and utilize religious occasions, such as the ram mandir ceremony, to incite hatred to gain more views and likes on social media.

The Ministry of Broadcasting's standards include requirements for television networks. They state that content should not criticize faiths or communities, degrade religious groups, or incite hatred. It is not permitted to display anything improper, misleading, or inciting violence. The laws are tight to ensure that television and web programming does not cause social issues or hatred.
