The story of DB Cooper, the mysterious hijacker who vanished into thin air, remains one of the most intriguing unsolved mysteries in aviation history. On november 24, 1971, in Oregon, a man named Dan Cooper purchased a one-way ticket for Northwest Orient airlines Flight 305 to Seattle. Cooper, appearing calm and well-dressed, displayed a bomb in his briefcase during the flight and demanded that the air hostess sit beside him.

In a note handed to the air hostess, he outlined his demands: four parachutes and $200,000 in $20 bills. The flight captain, after landing in Seattle, fulfilled Cooper's demands to secure the release of 36 passengers. Cooper then directed the plane toward mexico City and, at around 8 p.m., requested the rear door to be opened. With the money and parachutes, he parachuted out of the plane, disappearing into the night sky.

Despite an extensive FBI investigation and the recovery of a bag of decaying $20 bills matching the serial numbers given to Cooper, his fate and whereabouts remain unknown. The FBI suggested that Cooper likely didn't survive the jump, citing the parachute's failure to open. However, the case has remained unsolved for over 53 years, and the mystery of DB Cooper continues to captivate the imagination of people worldwide.
