National Hugging Day is a day to give love to people!!!

Every year on january 21 in the United States, people observe National Hugging Day, sometimes called National Hug Day, as a chance to show their love and affection for the people they care about. Hugs are a physical expression of affection that provides reassurance, comfort, and support. National Hugging Day honours the power embraces that easily make people happy—both the giver and the recipient. It serves as a reminder that even on your worst days, you may find light in an embrace. A lovely connection is formed between two people when they hug.

The origins of National Hugging Day

On march 29, 1986, in Caro, Michigan, Rev. Kevin Zaborney established National Hugging Day. Zaborney set aside this day to encourage people to promote happiness and be more open about their feelings. During her time at the university of Michigan studying psychology, Zaborney came to the realization that "there was no such day as witnessing the crucial act of hugging one another." As Zaborney once stated to The Christian Post, " Individuals require positive human interaction." "The act of hugging is a secure method to do so."
