As the time for the consecration of the ram Mandir in ayodhya approaches, there is widespread discussion and debate on various aspects of the event. Recently, photos of the idol of Lord Rama without blindfolds have surdata-faced, sparking confusion about their authenticity and origin. The images show the idol with a golden bow and arrow in hand, and they gained attention on social media.

The official response from the Chief of Sri Rama Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra stated that the eyes of Lord Rama should not be revealed until the Prana pratishta is performed. He mentioned that the viral photos are not authentic, and if they indeed depict the eyes of Lord Rama, an investigation will be conducted.


Acharya Satyendra Das, the Chief Priest of Sri Rama Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra, affirmed that an inquiry will be made to determine how the original photos were leaked. Govind Devgiri Maharaj, the Treasurer of Sri Rama Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra Trust, mentioned that prime minister Narendra Modi will be the first to visit the statue of Lord Rama in ayodhya after the blindfold is removed. The viral images of the blindfolded Lord Rama statue have become a significant topic of discussion in the lead-up to the temple's inauguration.
