Sankranthi Directors: Winners & Losers!

SIBY JEYYA
The Sankranthi season has ended. HanuMan will continue its run till the Republic Day weekend. Nagarjuna's Naa Saami Ranga will continue to add pennies, but only in limited quantities. For Gunturkaaram and Saindhav, it's very much done. It is fascinating to notice how the season finished for each of the four directors.

Trivikram is the greatest loss during Sankranti. He is now in a dilemma that appears considerably more serious than Agnyathavaasi. Gunturkaaram's failure is a reflection of Trivikram's failings. With Mahesh giving his all in the picture, the balance of power shifts even farther in favor of the filmmaker. trivikram published Aravindha Sametha in the same year as Agnyathavaasi. However, the difficulty currently is that Allu Arjun's project would take a long time. Trivikram's troubles will only become worse with the wait.

Prashant varma is this season's highest gainer. Suddenly, his PVCU appears to have genuine potential, and the way he handled the religious element smartly makes his 'Jai HanuMan' a viable option in the Pan-India market.

Sailesh Koneru, who came to Sankranthi with Saindhav, was also disappointed. He will now need to show himself once again by delivering another strike. Otherwise, Nani, Vishwak Sen, and adivi sesh will take credit for HIT and HIT 2's success. But he can't be written out; the only issue is convincing a hero from here and then delivering a hit.

Vijay Binni debuted with Nagarjuna's Naa Saami Ranga. Despite its middling quality, the film performed well at the box office. However, it is uncertain that the film would boost Vijay's career. The second picture will most likely be either a battle or a compromise.
