A woman in sangareddy court has been sentenced to imprisonment after being found guilty of inciting a man's suicide. The court accepted the charges against her, leading to a verdict that shocked the woman. The incident took place in Patan Cheru police station, and the case, which lasted for over four years, finally concluded with the court's decision.

The woman in question, Mogulamma, a resident of Veerojipalli in medak district, was a widow who worked as a laborer in Patan Cheru. The Kishan family, residing in the same colony of Shivavaipalli, was known to her. Kishan, who worked as a laborer, allegedly pressured his elder son, Lingam, to have a romantic relationship with Mogulamma. The situation escalated when he asked Lingam to bring Rs. 60,000, and the pressure intensified when Lingam refused.

Unable to bear the pressures, Lingam tragically took his own life by hanging himself on July 24, 2019, when no one was at home. Subsequently, Lingam's father, Kishan, filed a police complaint, accusing Mogulamma as the cause of his son's suicide. A case was registered in this regard, and the accused was taken to sangareddy court.

After a trial lasting nearly four and a half years, the judge in sangareddy court delivered the latest verdict. The woman has been sentenced to three years of simple imprisonment and fined Rs. 1,000. It is stated that failure to pay the fine will result in an additional month of imprisonment. The court's decision has left the woman shocked and marks the culmination of a legal process that unfolded over several years.
