PM Modi presents his shawl to the young vocalist!!!

Prime minister Narendra Modi gave his shawl to a child vocalist as a special thank you for her moving performance at the pongal celebration program that he attended today at MoS L Murugan's delhi home. She began singing "Satyam shivam Sundaram," and then, in an unexpected action, prime minister Modi called the girl off the stage and gave her a scarf he was wearing in appreciation. PM Modi blessed the artist after she touched his feet.

During the pongal celebrations, prime minister Modi expressed that the festive spirit was present in every tamil Nadu home and wished everyone happiness, prosperity, and fulfillment in their life. He stated that the national spirit of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' is reflected in the pongal celebration, and the same sentimental bond could be seen in the Kashi-Tamil and Saurashtra-Tamil Sangamam.

Likening India's variety to 'Kolam,' the prime minister said that strength emerges from a new shape when people from all over the country emotionally connect with one other. Using different types of rice flour, Kolam is a popular art form that involves sketching on the ground, specifically near the entrance portion of the house, and is considered a sign of auspiciousness and welcome.

According to prime minister Modi, "The celebration of pongal symbolizes the national belief of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat." The Kashi-Tamil Sangamam and Saurashtra-Tamil Sangamam traditions, which document the enthusiastic participation of a large number of tamil people, exhibit the same attitude. "This sense of unity is the most powerful weapon to build a Viksit Bharat by 2047," stated the prime minister. To revitalize and strengthen national unity is the primary purpose of the Panch pran that I have called upon from the red Fort."
