HanuMan, which was once seen as another low-budget picture, has now grown into a popular film. Despite the release of guntur Kaaram and Saindhav in cinemas, the popularity for HanuMan continues to grow. The scenario will remain unchanged tomorrow, with the addition of Na Saami Ranga to the box office. Surprisingly, this has resulted in an increase in demand for HanuMan tickets, although they are still unavailable.
Getting two or three tickets to the same show has become difficult in Hyderabad. On Book My Show, HanuMan tickets are selling at an astounding rate of 25,000 per hour on average, indicating tremendous demand. In comparison, guntur Karam is struggling to sell even 10,000 tickets.
As of january 16, obtaining tickets for HanuMan in any major city is unlikely. Despite additional screens in Andhra Pradesh, demand continues to climb. According to reports, Hanuman's first-day global revenue has reached about 22 crores, including premiere programmes.
Given the strong competition, one can only imagine how much higher this figure may have been if the picture had a single release. The crew is delighted with the early results. Despite probable issues with theatre availability in the first week, the team anticipates an increase in screen count in the second week.
Bollywood insiders predict that the hindi version will gross more than two crores in the North on its premiere day. The official figures will be released soon.
