Telangana CM Revanth Reddy to Launch Public Governance Website Today
With 1.05 crore applications submitted for the Praja Palana project, chief minister A. revanth reddy will launch the state government's dedicated website for public governance, prajapalana.telangana.gov.in, on Monday. On the same day, reddy will conduct a high-level conference to assess applications submitted under the Praja Palana programme from december 26, 2023, to january 6, 2024, and to consider next measures.
According to reports, 1.25 crore applications were received in total, with 1.05 crore of them for availing of five of the Six Guarantees, and the remainder for other issues or requisitions. The specifics of the 'Yuva Vikasam' promise will be determined later. Digitization of the applications has started, commencing data entry, officials said.
The hyderabad district received the most applications, with 13.7 lakh, followed by Rangareddy with 10.2 lakh and Medchal-Malkajgiri with 9.2 lakh. komaram bheem Asifabad had the fewest, with 1.82 lakh, Jayashankar bhupalpally had 1.46 lakh, and mulugu had 1.10 lakh.
Praja Palana took place in 16,392 gramme panchayats and 710 municipal wards. Overall, 3,714 official teams were stationed at 44,568 counters. The initiative was also overseen by senior state government officials.
"The deadline set by the government to digitise/upload all applications is january 17, and we will complete the process before that," stated a municipal administration and urban development (MA&UD) official.
The ghmc has engaged 3,500 data entry workers, and in addition to ghmc circle offices, the organisation is utilising educational institution infrastructure to complete the assignment.
"In a few cases, more than one family member applied for the same scheme." The precise number of beneficiaries eligible for the schemes would be determined only when the digitalization is done, according to a ghmc spokesperson.
