Although this is expected, it is now heavily criticized in the media. Before this, an event called the Appreciation Ceremony for Pasathalaivan was held in the presence of Kalaignar. At that time the entire film industry had gathered. Vijay and ajith also participated in it. But most of the stars were missing from yesterday's event. Many celebrities have gone abroad for the New Year celebrations and are yet to return home. But even ajith has come to chennai from abroad and has ignored this function.
