Telangana Assembly Dominated by Reddys - 7% Reddys with 41 of 119 seats

In the recently concluded telangana Assembly elections, the reddy group received 41 of 119 MLAs, representing a modest gain in political representation over the 2018 polls. The reddy clan, noted for their clout in both business and politics in the state, continues to shape Telangana's political scene.
Despite contributing around 7% of Telangana's population, the reddy community has approximately 34% representation in the Assembly. This community's prominent presence is due not just to their economic prosperity, but also to their diverse contributions to Telangana's economy.
