Kfir Bibas, Hamas's youngest prisoner, is just nine months old and has only lately begun to crawl after rocking on all fours. He resided on a kibbutz in southern israel with his parents and 4-year-old brother before being captured by Hamas on october 7 when the terrorist group embarked on a deadly spree in Israel. Kfir Bibas is the youngest among the approximately 240 captives held by Hamas, including 32 children.
Kfir Bibas is now 10 months old, after a month of no word on the family's location, as his grandpa holds out hope that the family would be freed soon. "This is my whole life now," Eli Bibas said of his son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren being detained by Hamas in an interview with the Tazpit press Service. "We have got to get them home."
Eli Bibas was scheduled to visit the family at their home in Kibbutz Nir Oz on october 7, but the air raid sirens went off, warning of oncoming missiles from Gaza. Eli Bibas, who lives approximately 20 minutes away, contacted the family to make sure everything was well. "Like the rest of the Gaza data-border communities, he was in the sealed room," he stated.
