Gaza evacuation now urgent says Israel amid war with Hamas

"We have been urging those living in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip to temporarily evacuate southward for the past two weeks. Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, the main spokesperson, stated that the move south was made for their personal protection.
In a live briefing, he stated, "We are emphasizing that this is an urgent call." Hagari continued, "There are now 239 confirmed hostages in Gaza as a result of Hamas' cross-data-border assault in southern israel on october 7."
