Sania mirza has been in the news recently due to rumours of marital problems between her and Pakistani cricket player Shoaib Malik, even in the middle of her hectic schedule and family time. According to reports, they are currently co-parenting their son Izhaan while living apart. Fans and the media are still waiting for formal word on Sania and Shoaib's relationship status, as they have not released one.

The sports enterprise of the APL Apollo family, SG sports, said in a statement on wednesday that it has signed indian tennis great sania mirza as the brand ambassador of its recently purchased tennis Premier League (TPL) franchise Bengaluru SG Mavericks. It claimed to have also unveiled the team's new logo.

"I am grateful to SG sports for selecting me as their brand ambassador and am happy to be a part of this exciting endeavour... There is still a long way to go before we become global stars in our sport, but the tennis Premier League offers us a fantastic chance for up-and-coming players to demonstrate their skills on the court," mirza said.
