Udhayanidhi's Sanatan Remark is condemned by ISKCON...

The international Society for krishna Consciousness (Iskcon) has requested that Udayanidhi stalin be taken to task for his controversial remarks about Sanatana Dharma. stalin is the head of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and a minister for tamil Nadu. vice-president of Isckon-Kolkata Radharaman Das questioned, "Why isn't the supreme court taking suo motu cognizance of his hate speech?" In the past, the supreme court strongly condemned hate speech and directed the police to step in. 

Udhayanidhi stalin, the son of chief minister MK stalin, sparked controversy on saturday by asserting that Sanatana dharma is at odds with the concept of social justice and ought to be "eliminated." Udhayanidhi's comparison of Sanatana dharma to diseases like dengue and malaria infuriated bjp leaders. Sanatana must be eradicated rather than fought, according to Udhayanidhi, because it is similar to dengue and malaria.

Religious authorities did not favour Udayanidhi Stalin's remarks. Udayanidhi's comments prompted Das to respond, saying, "We are going to write the prime minister on the matter so that the proper action is taken. After all, he is a minister and the CM's son.Udhainidhi stalin said he would repeat his statements and would not back down from them. It shows how arrogant he is," he said. India, a democratic country with 80% Hindus as its population, is a secular society. How could such a strong person say such a thing, and nothing be done, he wondered.
