Since Lingam, who was caught in the case of smuggling 300 kg of heroin in Kerala, worked as an assistant to actress Varalakshmi, Sarathkumar's daughter is also planning to be investigated. A summons has also been sent. Varalakshmi, who said that she is currently shooting for a telugu film in Andhra state, has informed the NIA officials that she will appear for investigation after the shooting is over.
